In acknowledgement of Inclusive Education Week, DMS will host a week of fun-filled activities for students and staff that place emphasis on establishing a community of kindness by building an equitable, inclusive and safe learning environment for our students. This week’s events will kick-off on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 with our morning announcement introducing the “National Inclusive Education Week” agenda, kick-off video created by students. At lunch, students will sign the “Resolution of Respect” banner, pledging to BEE Kind, BEE Respectful, BEE Compassionate, BEE Inclusive and BEE a Friend…DMS is a school that is…NO PLACE FOR HATE! After signing the banner each student will receive a Bee sticker and bracelet acknowledging their commitment to creating a schoolwide culture of kindness.
