The 2025 National Education Association's annual American Education Week will take place from November 17 to 21 this year. This gives all Americans an opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who make a difference by ensuring every child receives a quality education.
In honor of AEW, DMS will cordially invite parents and guardians (siblings are not permitted) to DMS on
- Tuesday, November 17 (for 6th-grade parents only)
- Thursday, November 20 (for 7th- and 8th-grade parents only)
For our annual “Bring Your Parent to School Day.” All visitors must sign in on Lobby Guard. Please bring your ID to the login options under American Education Week. Please take a YELLOW VISITOR BADGE and keep visible at all times during your stay. Please schedule your visit outside of your child’s lunchtime, as there is limited seating in the cafeteria.
